Privacy policy

The following data protection guidelines apply to this website:

1. no personal data of visitors to this site is recorded unless the visitor enters it voluntarily when commenting, contacting us by e-mail or contact form (name, e-mail address). An entry is regarded as a declaration of consent to storage and contact.

2. if your data has been stored, you have the right to request information about this data at any time and to have it deleted if necessary. For data protection reasons, however, this is only possible with proof of identity.

3. server operators temporarily record IP addresses of users without expressly obtaining written permission from each user. We cannot do anything about this.

4. we use standard software (wordpress) whose manufacturer guarantees compliance with the DVGSO, i.e. no user data is recorded or forwarded without authorization. This software and additional software written by us may use cookies, but these are used exclusively for menu control and are not used to identify users. Regarding the wordpress standard software, please consult their page for details.

5. to the best of our knowledge, we have removed all plugins that transmit information to third-party sites (Fakebook, Google, etc.) when this site is accessed and that can lead to the identification of users and their behavior.

6 Software is subject to regular changes and adjustments to ensure security and ease of use. We cannot rule out the possibility that, despite assurances of compliance with data protection standards by the providers and our own careful examination, ambiguities may arise in details. We will immediately and carefully check any concerns raised and rectify any errors.

7. contents of this page contain links to pages of other operators (within the individual contributions). We cannot rule out the possibility that the operators of these sites do not adhere to the GVDSO regulations or collect additional data. Clicking on these links is therefore expressly and exclusively at your own risk.

8. this page contains links/buttons to social networks that can be used to share posts on this website in social networks. We expressly point out that the use of these buttons can be used by the operators of the social networks to record user activities (only the use, not the presence of the buttons on our website). We have no influence over this. With the buttons, we merely provide the option of simple sharing in social networks for our users.

9. our pages contain the option of expressing liking for an article via Like buttons. We expressly point out that non-personalized data may be recorded when this button is used in order to prevent misuse. By using this button, you expressly acknowledge that we may record data to prevent misuse.

10. access to our site is SSL-encrypted. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail or by accessing the site in HTTP instead of HTTPS mode) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

11 Since we are not allowed to record anything according to the GVDSO and therefore cannot check anything, we also assume no liability for the fact that identities entered according to (1) are actually correct. Making contact on the basis of falsified entries therefore does NOT entitle you to take legal action against us, even in repeated cases.

12. the legal situation is currently as confusing as possible, especially as there are currently no detailed regulations regarding the GVDSO. Our website and this declaration may therefore be subject to short-term changes. For the same reason, we will not recognize blanket warnings, but will have the legitimate interest in them clarified in court.

13. when using (and only when using) certain functions, certain data may be recorded by third parties or us in order to prevent misuse of the functions. By using these functions, permission for this is expressly granted.

Liability for links

Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot accept any liability for this third-party content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the content of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. Illegal content was not recognizable at the time of linking. However, permanent monitoring of the content of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. If we become aware of any legal infringements, we will remove such links immediately.

Copyright

The content and works created by the site operators on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution and any form of commercialization of such material beyond the scope of the copyright law shall require the prior written consent of its respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of this site are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content on this site was not created by the operator, the copyrights of third parties are respected. In particular, third-party content is identified as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please inform us accordingly. If we become aware of any infringements, we will remove such content immediately.

Media content

If media (images, videos, etc.) are included in the contributions, we hold the rights, licenses or consents. Own and public domain media are not explicitly identified; conversely, media without a source reference are own or public domain media. The use of such media in your own publications does not require a source reference, but is at your own risk.

In the case of licensed media, the rights holder is responsible for compliance with the data protection provisions. We expressly exclude any liability on our part; however, in the event of a breach of data protection regulations by third parties, affected parties may at any time request that the media in question be removed or modified immediately.

For data protection reasons, however, we can only provide evidence or delete data if the persons concerned have credibly identified themselves or a representative has submitted an express confirmed mandate to represent the interests of a data subject. Proofs or deletions relate exclusively to the complainants, but not to other persons who can be seen in the media.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are

  • Browser type/ browser version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Host name of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

Reservation of error

These websites are dynamic and constantly changing. What matters to us is the content; although we try to comply with purely formally required information, which more than 99.9% of all users do not observe anyway, we cannot rule out the possibility that something may be overlooked. If we are made aware of formal deficiencies such as missing links to certain pages, we will rectify these immediately. However, we expressly declare that we do not recognize such deficiencies, which do not lead to a restriction of the rights of the users of this website, as a reason for a warning and will report them to the police as attempted commercial coercion.

Severability clause

Should parts of this declaration become ineffective or inadequate due to changes in case law, the other parts of the declaration will not be affected. As a private operator, it is not possible for us to monitor all judgments relating to such formal declarations in a timely manner. If we are made aware of such deficiencies, we will rectify them immediately. However, we expressly declare that we do not recognize formal complaints, the exclusion of which in advance means an unreasonable burden for a private website operator, as a reason for a warning and will report them to the police as commercial coercion.
